Would that be caused by sanitation? I'm very careful to wash everything well and soak it with STARSAN. Would it be caused from washed yeast that was possibly contaminated. Any idea how I can determine the cause and correct it?

Thank you so much for the advise. I had no idea it wood not be OK to let it set overnight. I ran to my nephews house and borrowed some propane. I'm boiling now. Thanks again.
I have a newby question. I mashed my grain and realized I don't have enough propane to do a 60 minute boil. Is there any problem in letting my unfermented and un boiled wort set overnight and boil it tomorrow. Thanks for any advise.
I am brewing Hefeweizen Ale. It is an extract kit with all LME and liquid Yeast(White Labs 300). Was planning on making a starter but no DME
in kit. Can you make a starter using LME.
This is my 4th brew ever and I have never made a starter.
