Russian Imperial Stout -- simple 5 gal recipe needed. Thanks!!!

I have a wild strain of hops growing in my backyard. What is the best way to harvest and store. Also, for a general hop, does anyone have a simple recipe that may work?

I just drank my beer and it totally surprised me. I made a beer that was extremely hoppy. It fermented without me adding yeast. I left it in indirect sunlight for a couple of days, and then stored it for over a year... oh yeah and the plug dried allowing air in. i have no idea how long that went...

Can a beer ferment and age in a room with ambient sunlight, not direct and be okay?

If this beer turns out... It will be a f*cking miricle. I had a batch self ferment on its own. It was going crazy! It fermented from Mon-Friday. Now it isn't fermenting as far as I can see. Also, the smell has changed from delicious to skunky. I am going to wait this one out regardless, but...

I am just wondering the best way to clean and sanitize my hoses. I have racking cane, a hose the same size and an overflow hose. I am just not sure how to clean out the inside. Thanks!

There would be a variance if you did two batches, but it should still ferment. I don't know how much of a beer taste expert you are, but most people shouldn't know the difference.

well that is why I wanted to name the corboy Mary... it is producing the Jesus beer, but it sounds like it may end up as Rosemary's baby... The smell is good actually, really good, nothing unsual, so I am going to ride this one out... could be a disaster, but I am going to let Mary work...
