Why can't I get the gas line off my keg?

I have done the CO2 to outlet many times for initial carbonation, what you didnt read, and if you pay attention to the color of the couplers in the tutorial, you would see that they used the liquid coupler on the liquid outlet to pressurize the keg. The couplers are different sizes and only...

I will second Simgo, great to deal with and resonably priced. They supply all of the retail wine and beer stores in my area with their kegging equipment.

No one can fill my CO2 Tank...:(

Last time I was in NFLD I ended up drinking rum for the whole visit, about the only beer on the shelves was Blue and Black Horse. And yes before anyone asks, they are 2 different beer (Labatt Blue that is). Glad to hear you solved your CO2 problem. And there is a rumor you are having a free...

    HELP! Newb kegging Emergency!!

It is not the threads that seal the reg. to the tank. The coupler just meshes two almost flat pieces of machined metal together. There is supposed to be a rubber washer between the two. If yours isnt leaking, then I would suggest the surfaces mated together pretty well / you got lucky. I am...

Help with force carbonating - Is my beer ruined?

It will take a couple of weeks sitting at 12 psi to get a proper carbonation level. If you are looking to drink in a couple of days, then take a look at some of the threads on force carbonation.

    Help! New to Liquid Yeast

An update and progress report. After approximately 4 days with minimal fermentation (OG 1.052, SG 1.0.50), I aerated the brew thoroughly, then transferred the primary into a sealed carboy with a blow off. I then waited another day to see if aerating the brew would reactivate any yeast that...

    Life sucks - No Carbonation

If you went through a 5 pounder in 3 cornies, you definetly have a leak. Seal up the keg and hit it with 30 - 40psi to seal the lid, then do a leak test, go get a spray bottle and mix up a batch of soapy water. If necessary, replace the seals and do a leak test every time you seal up a keg...

    Cheap n' rusty CO2 cylinder

Typical Canadian price gouging! Cheapest I found is Prax Air in New Glasgow at $28, and they exchange tanks on the spot, regardless of hydro.

    Cheap n' rusty CO2 cylinder

Prices vary greatly in Halifax. Most were over $100 for a hydro and fill. PM sent.

    Cheap n' rusty CO2 cylinder

What I was refering to is, I have an in that does a lot of business at one of the local gas supply shops and will swap a tank with a filled and hydro'ed tank, independant of the condition of the tank (such as if it has coke on the side or is out of date). Just trying to help a local brewer out.

    Cheap n' rusty CO2 cylinder

Hey SeamusMac, if the cost is too much or you have problems getting it hydro'ed, give me a PM. I just got a 20lb exchanged and filled for a very reasonable $, no questions asked.

Thanks Steve, you set my mind at ease, the date of the packet was July 09, so only a couple of months old. I will recheck the SG and monitor.
