Maryland 6 gallon glass carboys - DC/Baltimore area

Sorry, I don't make it that far. I'm a poor college student. I have someone coming to look tomorrow, so if that fails I will PM you.

TC-9102 Temp Controller for an eBIAB build

I ended up doing almost the same thing. I found one of those Electric Brew Heater elements online that has the infinite power control. It worked well enough, but Im coming to terms that it is still not ideal. Search continues for either a water tight probe that will work with the TC, or the...

    Where to get CO2?

Thanks for this tip. Totally agree. A guy came out and grabbed my bottle and took off with it, without me saying a word. I love places like this.

Auber RTD probe for TC-9102 temp controller?

Can you tell if this is waterproof or immersable? At least for my part, I wanted something that I could mount either on a kettle or part of RIMs system.

110v Recirculating eBIAB 2.5 gallon batches

So first, big shout out to jrb, PJ, and everyone for this awesome thread. You guys really should go into business together and sell these setups. I have just finished wiring up my controller, following PJ's diagram for one element. I finally worked up the courage to plug it in and turn it on...

Auber RTD probe for TC-9102 temp controller?

Yea I had high hopes that I could use an Auber Instruments probe with my TC-9102, but they don't work together. If you do happen to find some type of water tight or submersible RTD probe that the TC will take then please post. I could not find one. However, I have used my TC with a Marshall...

    wyeast smack pack questions

Is this a time where a yeast starter could help get you to where you need to be? I recently started doing it, and for the first time did a double up with 2000ml starter because I had an older white labs California ale bottle jobby that i wanted to try and salvage. The first day it didn't seem to...

TC-9102 Temp Controller for an eBIAB build

I am planning on doing 2.5 gallon batches (was gifted some small corny kegs). I think I will give this basic controller a shot, and in the mean time plan out what I would build with a PID. I do plan on recirculating to help maintain the temp, just need to chose a pump. I know this is also a...

TC-9102 Temp Controller for an eBIAB build

Thanks much Jeff. That will sets me off on a couple more things to research. I do have one, got it for 50 bucks. I did sort of a test with it plugged into a marshal town bucket heater and I checked it with my CDN thermometer; set at 150, it did not go over 152. But could be different ballgame...

TC-9102 Temp Controller for an eBIAB build

Promise I searched the forums for an answer. My question upfront is to anyone with experience with an electric kettle. In place of building a control box, with a PID and what not to control an electric kettle/mash tun, what if I just plugged a mounted element into a TC-9102 HV Series Temperature...
