Chillzilla counterflow chiller need adaptor for wort out to cam lock

A compression fitting should do it. http://www.bargainfittings.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=36_56&product_id=132 They are not cheap, i was going to do it but found the silicone tubing fit over it perfectly and is easier to get on and off than the camlocks. No thermometer...

Falconers Flight with WLP090 San Diego Super Yeast

Just tapped into this batch right in time for Memorial Day. I'm very happy with the Falconers Flight from Hopunion and the WLP090 San Diego Super Yeast. The hops are clean and balanced with grapefruit and pine notes and the yeast was supper efficient and very clean and clear. I lowered my Mash...

    BeerSmith Issues

Yeah, it'll probably be fine. Honey is actually supposed to be added after primary so that's another option. And when the worst case scenario results in beer, things can't be too bad right? rdwhahb!

    BeerSmith Issues

    BeerSmith Issues

In the equipment profile make sure your lauter tun dead space is correct. You may not have much loss in the system and I think it defaults to one gallon. Are you using a cooler? As far as the FG, that's most likely a fermentation issue. Was your OG low? With more unexpected water the og would...

    Parti-gyle

Fullers ESB and London Pride is a partigyle, mostly Maris Otter. Target, Northdown, Goldings and Challenger hops. I've been threatening to do this one for a while. This is the thread that got me going on it. The Jamil Show also has a great podcast on their attempts. Pretty sure there's a link...

    chipotle flavor with minimal spice?

I feel like the adobo the chillies are packed in the can have a lot of the smoky flavor. I usually add only that to dishes if I'm going for the smokey side and not the spicy side. It's not Thanksgiving without chipotle honey cranberry sauce. And yeah probably better in the boil but I suppose...
