So the start relay didn't fix the issue. I decided to investigate further and found a couple of components that look pretty suspect on the control board. The capacitor on the left and the voltage regulator next to it show some signs of leaking. I am hoping that if I replace these two components...

Thanks for your reply. Yes, there is a digital temperature control on my kegerator. I ended up just buying the PTC start relay to see if it fixes the problem. If not, I will investigate further.
