Out of curiosity - when are you adding the molasses and sugar to the cider? Are you adding it directly to the fermentation vessel, or are you perhaps adding it to a small amount of cider before adding it to the fermenter?

Just wanted to say thanks for all the input. I'm going to modify the recipes based on everybody's input. Also, BigEd - I humbly ask: how do I come to understand all of the ingredients without using them in recipes? Thanks again!
