My new Recipe? -- Critique Me please

I ate the orange blossom honey. I have raw wildflower. I want to try to build a orange blossom beer hence wildflower + orange peel and trying to give citrus based hops a shot and using a light malt to avoid too malty flavors coming through. I guess the Citra and Mosaic hops were the wrong...

My new Recipe? -- Critique Me please

I didnt know those two hops existed. I'm going to see if I can get some from my local HBS. I can reduce the honey and replace with corn sugar to keep ABV where I want it with a little more malt.

Its that funky taste that malt liquors have. I didn't know you could add 10%. Maybe I'll add another lb or so. Just didn't want to ruin it

Yes, I was going to do 5 gallons then dump in 5 gal of water to rapidly cool, then about 170 ish id dump the raw wildflower honey and additional hops. I thought these hops paired with eachother. Should I just go Citra? And yes I'm a reader!

That's why there's honey malt in there. I did want to add honey as a late addition to boost the gravity and not get that corn sugar taste to it.

    Holy Kveik! (Omega Lutra)

WOW! I just have to say, I did Lunar Shock (Blue Moon Clone) from MoreBeer and trying to get it ready by 4th of July. I put US-05 in one fermenter, but my local MoreBeer recommended using Omega Yeast Dried Lutra for a quicker fermentation to keg it up. I pitched it last night around 8 PM and...

Honey in a beer? -- Newbie trying to learn! (Grain Bill incl.)

I may add some more DME to the mix as it contains a lot of nutrient to help the yeast feed as-well. Approx how much DME per % ABV? I know! I'm looking for something on the sweeter side, but understand if I don't get it. Question, If I step feed it won't that be more likely to allow the yeast...

I did not expect to get this much response and in such a supportive environment. Usually I see on forums "Did you search" (which, yes, I did) I've heard about braggots, and...

Honey in a beer? -- Newbie trying to learn! (Grain Bill incl.)

So I've been making beer for approx 6 months now and I started with Extract brewing on a Brewzilla 65L setup making 10 gallon batches and kegging them in my dad's old Pinlock Corny Kegs! My dad keeps telling me about this Red Eyed Honey ale that he made way back in the day (80s to early 90s) and...
