    BIAB- High F.G. Problem

You guys rock-thanks for the solid advice. And good to know I'm not the only one who's had brewing woes.

    BIAB- High F.G. Problem

My O.G. was 1.05. I've never rehydrated ale yeast before but might give that a go next time, thanks for the advice. I'm not controlling or monitoring the room temperature after the yeast has been pitched, and hitting F.G. hasn't been a problem in the past so I've not worried about that...

    BIAB- High F.G. Problem

Hi Folks, I have recently began all grain brewing using the BIAB method, after 2 years using extract and speciality grains. I have made three 5.5 gallon batches so far and 2 of those (both dark beers) had a high final gravity of 1.02. Here's the grain bill and adjuncts used for my latest...

    Does This Look Bad?

You guys rock! Thanks for the solid feedback. I guess I'll just hang in there and hope it all works out in the end-plus, gives me an excuse to drink a lot of beer as fast as possible!

    Does This Look Bad?

Hi Folks, First online forum I've ever belonged to! If anyone can offer me some help or advice on this one it would be much appreciated. I just bottled a 5 gallon batch of Belgian Saison (all-extract), O.G.=1.049 F.G. 1.004. This is only the 3rd bacth of beer I've ever made and the first...
