!!FREE TEST!! for INKBIRD vacuum sealer with bag storage!(Value $79.99)

My vacuum sealer broke and now won’t hold the plastic bags to vacuum or seal properly. Would definitely be interested.

    Consumption Check In

I’ve managed to trick myself into enjoying quite a few NA the last couple years. Just don’t make the mistake of comparing to leaded. I did that with Bitburger Pils and NA pils back to back. Ruined the NA for me! Loved it before that. I don’t think you can replicate the same flavors. Alcohol is...

    Consumption Check In

I started focusing on fitness and with that it became simple that I drank too much to succeed. Whether calories or being ****** the next day and skipping or half assing workouts. My home brewing took a back seat but I’m getting back at it. Just tested the auber cube I bought second hand to...

    ICEMASTER MAX 2

Love it! I think I'll add 90s to the front of the cooler and to my fermenter coils. Might restrict flow a bit but will be tidier and easier to manage.

    ICEMASTER MAX 2

You are correct! I didn't look at the valve, only had it in my mind that only one end was a dual connection (dumb). I suppose I'll need to read a bit about the optimal flow direction before committing to the install.

I just got the SS dual connectors. Haven't attached them yet, but my plan is basically what you did, but have 3-4" of flexible hose off my 90's coming out of the cooling coil. That would allow you to swap the flow direction if needed. I'd question at my 10 gallon scale if it much matters though.

    ICEMASTER MAX 2

I go as low as my fermenters can go without the glycol machine running constantly. For me, that's 35 in one tank and 37-38 in another (it has a much less efficient cooling coil design). With good coils or a jacket I think 35 in two 10-15 gallon fermenters would be achievable without nonstop...

    ICEMASTER MAX 2

Yeah, that does not seem worth it for me. I have a properly sized 120v fan but it only moves 62CFM, very quiet though! Any chance you saw the specs on the stock one in the chiller. I'd rather not sacrifice the machine's longevity for comfort, but if similar spec, I would make the change. I...

Did you ever try replacing the fan? Fortunately/Unfortunately, my brewery is also my home office. Was curious if you had any success and recommend a certain model.

    Low-Budget Stainless Pressure Fermenters

Yep. Do it all the time. I've had a couple pushup krausen out the blow off but likely tried to get a bit more than 5 gallons in there. I was hung up on 5 gallons a lot in the past. Fermenting 4 or a bit more in a standard corny keg works just as well and cost nothing more than a floating dip...

    Omega OYL-405 Helio Gazer

I did an IPA with Star Party, same here, not a fan of the thiol thing. I made a great pale ale the same day (used WLP001 on that batch)...it's sulphury and bad. I'm not in a hurry to waste it, but the smell is kind of repulsive at 3 weeks. It can sit and wait. I may also try the copper trick to...

    Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale 2022

It's available regionally in Ingles now (WNC area), also on tap at the Mills River taproom with the Northern Hemisphere and Rutheless (Ruthless wasn't as great as I remembered but still good). I'd love to perfect a homebrew clone of Celebration, it is my favorite release of the year.

Tennessee Urgently need gas quick disconnect in Pigeon Forge, TN

Thanks! I'm trying Facebook groups too. I think I have a worst case plan of firing co2 in the out post to pressurize then swapping back to the picnic tap. Each keg served 3 pints with it's own pressure last night.

Tennessee Urgently need gas quick disconnect in Pigeon Forge, TN

I brought homebrew to my family reunion and brought the picnic tap and co2 unit/cartridge... But forgot the stinking gas QD! Anyone able to help a guy out with a spare? Looks like the nearest homebrew shop is in Knoxville, an hour away.
