Do I need to dump it? Do I need to worry?

Well - this is what I did - I took the beer out of that bucket so I can try and save the bucket. I put it into a bottling bucket where I plan on letting it sit for a couple of days, see what happens - and I will report back. I bleached, cleaned, and sanitized the bucket and checked it...

Do I need to dump it? Do I need to worry?

It was probably only in the bucket for a month. So best course of action - dump it? (Damn) Would you recommend that I bleach out the bucket and all equipment it came into contact with? This was my first bucket brew. I usually use glass and I have never had a problem. :(

Do I need to dump it? Do I need to worry?

Hey guys, I am brewing an awesome Honey Amber Ale - went to open my 5 gallon bucket to see this (Look at image) No off smells. Just looks like a contamination I guess.... What do I do now. I haven't had this happen to be before. I am so good about sanitation and I am pretty sure no air got...

    What's happening?

Not my first batch - but I'm still learning. I haven't used this test before and it does need to be kept warmer than usual. I was worried because I am use to seeing more distinct separation. I can see a nice yeast cake starting to settle. Big thing was I was surprised to see it almost done after...

    What's happening?

Hey guys. I'm making a 1 gallon trial batch of a white house honey ale. 1st 48 hours were normal with lots of action1 but then I saw a significant drop in fermentation after that. Thought it was too cold. Stored it in a warmer place and started right back up. Cool. Problem solved right...

    Yeast Questions

Hey guys Was wondering if there is an ideal yeast in ounces to gallon on liquid equation to know the right amount to pitch. I am doing one gallon batches of different brews and would like to make sure I am pitching the right amounts - this includes a cider too. Does this vary by yeast...

    Hand full of questions...

So I am enjoying one of my nice home brews as I write this and figured I would ask more questions in my thread rather than start a new one. Why do some people use a secondary fermenter? What is the purpose? What is the process? Does anyone go through the trouble of filtering their beer...
