    Bottling Issue Very Little Carbonation

I recently did a large brew, when i bottled it I had to split between different bottle types, standard 355 ml capped bottles and 500ml swing top bottles. The 355ml bottles turned out great, perfect carbonation, the 500ml have very little carbonation, I am assuming that I left too much air space...

Had A Bottle Bomb what do I do now?

Well it appears to be an isolated explosion, likely due to a dirty bottle, when i was sanitizing the bottles i had one or two that were a little funky due to not rinsing when it was emptied last time. I have gone through about 15 bottles and not one gusher... Lesson learned on being extra...

Had A Bottle Bomb what do I do now?

So far it seems to be isolated, it could be possible the bottle may have been weak... i put 7 in the fridge yesterday, and then decided to test them out, none of them gushed, had good carbonation and was probably my best batch yet! I used 138g or 4.9oz of Dextrose, the volume in the bucket was...

Over 48 hours and No Fermentation Happening

There was very minimal foam on top and it hadn't changed in 2 days. I aerated it vigorously before pitching the yeast. I have now given it a good old shake and pitched some US-05, fingers crossed i get some action now. Thanks Everyone for the feedback, I appreciate the help!

Over 48 hours and No Fermentation Happening

The temperature was not 140, it was less than 100. The yeast should have been good, the expiry on it was not until August 2018

Over 48 hours and No Fermentation Happening

Sorry, here is a picture of the Carboy, there is very little action. I used liquid White Labs WLP001 California Ale Yeast, I am brewing a cream ale, the yeast was stored in the fridge, i took it out about 3 hours to pitching to bring to room temperature. It is in the same Carboy and air lock...

Over 48 hours and No Fermentation Happening

It has been over 48 hours and it does not appear to be any fermentation happening, all of my previous batches bubbled up to the point where i had to use an overflow. I think my issue is I may have pitched the yeast with the Wort too hot, I was using a new larger pot to do a 5 gal batch, the...
