    S'mores Sweet Stout

    was wondering if any one tried adding syrups at flameout then more to bottle carb was thinking of trying that when i brew this on sunday.Also is there another acceptable wyeast yeast like american ale 1056 if my lhbs does not have 1084?Any pointers or tips would help very much.thanks guys

    down to a gravity of 1.012 tastes like an apple pie made with granny smiths and mac apples, the yeast has done amazing things with the juice. It also has a great fizz to it drank it the way it was when taking a gravity last nite! you would think that we put pie filling in the glass with spices...

    That sucks then I might not add the grapes into secondary and ill just prime my bottles with grape concentrate, or the beer will need a long ageing time thanks for the info though better luck on next comp

    warm yeast

    smack the yeast like it says in the instructions, if it pops up your good read instructions on package, you have at least a week with it in the fridge before you REALLY have to pitch it, just got wyeast 3724 it was warm when it got it activated the pack and yeast took off like crazy their both...

    Well ill see how it goes friday or sunday, just don't know if I should go with the higher end juice that would be organic trader joes or cheapie no name juice from stop an shop but I do know ill be primeing the bottles with frozen aj concentrate did it once works amazing if you haven't tried it...

    this yeast is made to handle high temps between 75-95 i have my two saisons at 90 right now in the closet on heating pads was just wondering simply what would saison yeast do too apple juice with or without malt an hops just a lil leery or ill be mixin not something i wanna do but hey these...

    was more worried about the saison yeast itself and flavor of the cider and or graff coming through with the wyeast 3724 or hopefully it could do amazing things guessing u have good experiances with s04 in hot weather or doyou temp control somehow? ever hear of ciders with saison yeast ever?

    we nailed the og spot on, very surpised for first p.m., yeast seems to be slowing down so i put a heating pad next to it even though closet had a temp of 83 this morning gonna try to keep it upwards of 90 has been 86 in daytime lately when i get home in the cooler part of the day any stalling...

    I just did a saison furtif as was my first p.m. I'm wondering if i would have good results brewing brandons graff and then pouring it on the leftover yeast cake. The yeast i used for the frutif was wyeast 3724. are there any ill results you can think of by doin this or should we just go for...

    made this on sunday i forgot a .5lb of LME an only used 4.0lb, was rushing gettin it in before flameout so i only hit right around 1.060 then brought it up tp 1.062 with DME hopefully i didnt screw up your great recipe, the 3724 yeast is chugging away heavy in my 90 degree closet smelling great...

    Anyone see a problem with using 3724 instead of 3711 thays what I ordered by accident gonna try it either way saturday anytthing to do differant hopeing I won't ruin your great recipe thanks for any input guys
