    Easy Scotch Ale recipe??

Im looking for a simple Scotch Ale recipe. I'm new and I have only your basic equipment. Also, what are we talking about when i see things like Al GRAIN, EXTRACT, and PARTIAL after recipes. I assume extract is the syrup and all grain is, well, all grain? J

    Munich Helles as an Ale

I'm not sure what kind of yeast it is. This is only my second brew, it's from a kit and the packet just said "yeast"! Teach me about Honey

Is honey usable as something to add into - say - a brown ale? I'm really knew to all of this, just wondering a few things... does it need to be sanitized and how will the yeast and sugars increase the alcohol content when if at all should it be added. j

    Munich Helles as an Ale

Hey guys, so the yeast and the instructions that came with my Munich Helles kit said that I can brew it as an Ale. Being that I dont have the means to get it down to the temps neccessary for lagering, I've gone ahead and just followed the instructions. The beer went well thru the first...

    Fermentation for Munich Helles

Hi gang, I've just about completed my first brew (a weizen) and I purchased my second one yesterday. I am going to do a Munich Helles, but I didn't realize - in my infantile knowledge of brewing - that it needs to be fermented at a lower temperature. In fact, it says to lower the temp 1-3...
