I am attempting to go this route and see hwat fruit it bears.
I have funded a total of 12 Kickstarter/Indiegogo campaign. All of them have kept their promises, or at the least have provided products to the original backers first once they become available.. GrowlerWerks is an abhorrent company...
The hose is wrapped inside the cask, and I also used insulated copper pipe between the cask and fridge. This way there should not be such a difference in temp, as to create condensation.
My only issue now, is how to attach a drip tray :0)
Didn't really do a good quality build post.
But i think it's pretty straight forward.
Used 2 5L cask to mount my Perlick faucets too.
All stainless hardware, and an insulated copper pipe for feeding the tubing to the cask.
LMK what you guys think
Thanks Nic :mug:,
If anything I have found patience to be a great tool with home brewing (Bourbon Barrel Ale).
I am going to bre as soon as it come in, so it will be ready for spring/summer :tank:
I ordered the Extract kit from Midwest.
Anyone brewed this one?
Opinions?
I am a huge coffee guy (5-8 cups before 10am:D)
Thought it would be worth the try.
Also would I need a specific tap for my kegerator(this is my first stout)? Currently I have Perlick 575SS's
:mug: to all!!
Also when speaking to the dealer he said that they were available as replacement parts, not for purchase
In case you damaged one, or one got damaged during shipping.....
Hence why i mentioned no names.
But as stated before, i can always fab them myself.
Just liked the idea of getting ready built stuff for less than 80% of the original system.:fro:
I am only making 5 gallon batches.
I am a small extract brewer, i do not have the time to go all grain, nor do i want to invest into an automated system to save time. In the end leaves more time for :tank:
The 3060 Series is 3X6. 15Series denotes the T-Slot dimensions, and spacing.
You must be talking about the 1530 (1.5X3.0)
I am not too concerned with the hardware, as I could always go to metric hardware if need (it still fit's in the slots on the fractional 15 Series).
And I ordered the 3060...
I called a dealer and they said you can get the arms, as a replacement part. Originally they come with the stand, but you can get them.
Oh and I ordered 80/20 15 series 3060. I have used them in the past for other projects. Once I get it built I can send you a parts list.
