    Homebrew store in London

I live in Iceland and the homebrew Shop doesn't have much yeast in stock. I'm in London now and want to find a homebrew store here to buy yeast mainly. I'm staying in Lewisham so if anyone here knows any good homebrew store around there or somewhere in London then please let me know.

Are you living in London by any chance. I come there every year or two and it's getting harder to find bitter on cask. If you're in London can you tell me what's your favorite pub and ale and I will make a trip there next time in London 😊

    Got an urge to brag

I've just had so many bitters better than Fullers. I'm just aiming for them and getting very close to the best ones 😊

    Got an urge to brag

Fullers are the only bitters in my local liquour store. I live in Iceland. Not much variety in beers here. Used to live in London and had such much good bitters in the UK. But today you have to go out of the touristy areas n London to find Bitters and proper ales. Fullers is fine but my aim...

I'd buy two. Might take you a little more than one to adjust too it, but when you do prepare to get hooked 😊

    Got an urge to brag

English bitters are the main reason I started brewing my own beer and I've been working on a receipe that I made. This is batch nr. 3 and it is so delicious and good looking that I just had to post a photo. It's 4.6%, and on the sweeter side maybe, fermented with Pub A09, smells like heaven...

Best crystal malts for English Bitter

Any of you know where I could order some of these brands and get delivered to Iceland? 😬

Best crystal malts for English Bitter

What are the most common brands of crystal malts for English Bitter. My homebrew store only sells caramunich and I mostly brew enghlish bitters. Caramunich makes good beer but it's not exactly what I'm used to from english pubs.

    Favorite English yeast?

I don't have much experience with many types of yeast but I 've been working with Imperial Pub A09 for my bitters and I am very impressed with it. Fast fermenter and flocculates like a brick with very nice flavor.

Early Review: Jasper Yeast JYO-37 ESB, the Fullers Strain/WY1968/Imperial Pub

If the beer comes out cloudy and tasting of yeast maybe you should use finings like gelatine. I like my bitters as clear as possible. Using Pub A09 and gelatine does just that. And I don't really care for that little more attenuation. I like to keep some of the sweetness in there in my ales.

    Mash pH

I never asked IF I should check pH. I just asked if, and then how it would AFFECT the quality of my beer if pH was a bit more acidic than recommended pH range.
