How much of the pot is scorched on the bottom?? I did four full boils on the electric stove (shot me if i ever do that again) this weekend and had no problem with scorching. I would bring 4 gallons of water up to 155 add grains then add extremely hot water to bring it to 5ish, remove the pot...

i think what ill do from now on is make sure i have the air lock in the stopper before i push it in. or i may just get some everclear and clean the stopper in everclear instead of star-san

or you could be like me and hook your co2 tank up to the out side crank the pressure up to 35 and back it down to 10 a day later. Guess what when you back down the pressure the excess has to go somewhere and it goes into the gas line. the beer hit my regulator and i just said F#*(. Live and learn
