    Airlock

    As long as you have about ~20% or more head space, You can run with an airlock. You don't want to suck mold spores into your fermenter, if you can help it. So I have read.

    Yes, you make a good point. I'm still new to this. I can think about the times I have used a tap from the liquor store. If I didn't have it wide open, there would be foam. Maybe a restriction issue?

    try some Teflon tape with every fitting. sounds like a vacuum leak..

    not sure of the ratings, but you want to connect the capacitor to the pump in series (before the pump).

    boilcoil experiences

    Hey Everyone, I have an electric (glass) stovetop and it takes forever to get 3gal of water to a boil. I feel like if I go the boilcoil route, I will save alot of time and money (electric bill). About how long does it normally take to get to a full boil using these?
