    Lagering a Cider?

    Anyone had any luck using a lager yeast and fermenting at Lager temps? Just curious if I would produce a crisper and clearer result. cheers!

    Recipe Help - Mocha Porter

    While at AB the guy told me to simply prepare the porter kit as normal, and after fermentation to add cocoa powder and cold brewed coffee to the beer, then keg. gonna brew tomorrow and will let ya know in a few weeks how it turns out. thanks for your advice.

    Yes I shop at AB in Raleigh. Not sure which steeping grains they have in their porter kit but that is what I have been using in the past. I did not realize they had chocolate LME. I though they only had light, amber, dark, ect... Maybe I'll give that a try this goround. Thanks.

    I have been bottleing by brews so far. I am going to be making a kegerator in the next two weeks. (or as soon as I get it back from the custom paint shop) with that being said, I also have a cream ale that has been sitting in the primary for almost 4 weeks now. It stopped fermenting 2 weeks ago...
