Just bottled this. I did change the orginial recipe a bit with some american wheat yeast...all the store had at the time. Here's to hoping for a tasty brew. :tank:

Only been able to brew a few from the HBT recipe base, all aside from one (brewer error on my end) have turned out great. Subscribing to this thread for future ideas. :cross:

Used a pack of the "bad" yeast last week, working in less than 12 hours. Don't believe all the hype. Just gets you worked up over absolutely nothing.

What did you use to print off the label? I was thinking some form of Avery labels, but I didn't know what others were using. Thanks!

Yeah, I was calculating for a 5 gallon batch with 15 lbs.

Wow, using the white honey for a batch would cost around $384 (if my gorilla math is correct) before any other cost considerations. That is crazy.

Awesome, thank you. I plan on pulling 2 gallons out into seperate 1-gallon jugs; so I'll have to use a 3 gallon carboy for the remainder.

Kind of what I thought too, thank you for the input. I suppose I should suppress the urge to cheap out as much as possible, since the honey was kind of pricey. :D

Doesn't that add silicone to the brew? Could have just been the type of drops I saw, or made up in my head.
