    Weissbier Simple Hefeweizen

    Just bottled this. I did change the orginial recipe a bit with some american wheat yeast...all the store had at the time. Here's to hoping for a tasty brew. :tank:

    Used a pack of the "bad" yeast last week, working in less than 12 hours. Don't believe all the hype. Just gets you worked up over absolutely nothing.

    Wow, using the white honey for a batch would cost around $384 (if my gorilla math is correct) before any other cost considerations. That is crazy.

    Awesome, thank you. I plan on pulling 2 gallons out into seperate 1-gallon jugs; so I'll have to use a 3 gallon carboy for the remainder.

    Doesn't that add silicone to the brew? Could have just been the type of drops I saw, or made up in my head.
