I put a batch in a keg last week to condition for a few days until I kicked one in rotation. Hit it with CO2 each night and was concerned with the amount it took each time. Did a starsan spray test today and found that it was leaking from the gas 'in' post, right in the middle. I kicked a keg...
Ready to go for Saturday. Trying out my second step in creating a house pale ale recipe. Going to play with Centennial, Cascade and Amarillo. Might need to order more kegs to keep all of my experiments in.
I generally have one batch going at a time which is enough to keep my pipeline consistent. However, I had ankle surgery about a year ago and knew I wouldn't be able to brew for 4-5 months so I wanted to get ahead beforehand. I brewed a batch about once each week. While I had grains mashing for a...
Great OP! I just ordered 1lb each of Amarillo, Cascade, and Centennial. This fall is going to be busy. Got a new keezer, two kegs, two kegs on the way, and 10 gallons bubbling.
Got a phone call yesterday that we had a water main break at work. Had to close for today. I just happened to have the ingredients for a cream ale that I was going to brew next weekend but decided to do it today on my "extra" day off. Might do a blonde ale as well.
Don't you just love those...
I did a pale ale in the spring and bottled it. It tastes great but all of the bottles are undercarbed. I htink maybe I didn't measure the priming sugar well. I just started kegging. I am wondering if I could pour the remaining pale ale out of the bottles in to a keg and put it on gas? I probably...
I would say $15 sounds good. The only better deal I have seen is the 4 glass carboys that were given to me last week by a co-worker. They have been sitting in her basement and she was tired of looking at them. Her husband quit brewing several years ago and it was time to clean house. She thinks...
1-2 per evening on weeknights, 2-3 on Friday and Saturday. That will probably go up soon as my keg comes online and college football starts up. Gotta get going on my next batch to fill keg #2. :mug:

I will be kegging my AHS Warrior Pale batch (first batch in my new keg setup) and might start something Big and Red in preparation for the Husker Season (Go Big Red!!!!!).
My 8yo loves the Wii. I would recommend Boom Blox - great game, fun family game. Also makes the kids think a little bit. I am a fan of the Medal of Honor games but I save those until the kids have gone to bed. Another vote for Mario Kart as well. SWMBO likes the Wii Fit and the Balance Board.
