Talked to my welder again today and he is positive that the kegs are aluminum. He tried to stick several different magnets to the kegs and also took it to a couple of his welding buddies and they all confirmed they are indeed aluminum. Has anyone herd of this and what can i do expect for...

what is the difference between food process equipment welding and regular welding.

is there any special equipment needed. What type of welding is everyone doing, what type of gas is being used, etc.

they are normal kegs that i got from a friend that owns a bar. I am not sure what they are. I thought they were steel but not sure.

Took my kegs to a welder and asked him weld some SS couplings for me. He said that he could not weld SS to an aluminum kegs. Has anyone else ran into this problem and how did they get around this.

No, the tab is still there. It appears that it does not matter whether the temp is below or above the parameters both outlets are getting power in both situations.

I just tried to make my own temp controller as well. However, i can not get the two outlets to work independently of each other. If the temp goes before the parameter they both turn on and if it goes above the parameter they both kick on again. However, they both kick on at about 4 degrees...
