I is two different recipe and this is the first time I did them too...
And at a this point in my brewing experience, I dont think I can identify the taste of a particular yeast in two different recipe.
Hi,
Two weeks ago I made two stout in the same week.
At that time I did not identify the two carboys, because I ''knew'' wich is wich beer...
Now that I realised that my memory is defective I need to know wich carboy contains wich beer because I need to reuse the yeast for another...
There's is awesomes pictures and video of the Dow Brewery in montreal canada.
I live on the corner next to the bewery and after 50 year of being abandoned it has been bought by my university and they are building a R&D center.
I dont know if it has already been asked, but when I enter the recipe in beersmith it turns out that the estimated color is 5.6SRM Whats wrong?
And what are the specs of marris otter malt? cant find it in the software
thanks
I'm using oxy san too.
You have to mix it well with the right amount of water in a bucket and then transfer it in the carboy. It always leave some residue at the bottom of the bucket, if you mix it directly in the carboy these residue will stick to the bottom.
It would be great if someone can do a FAQ or how to on converting all-grain to partial... this questions is frenquently asked in every thread. I know some of you do it with beersmith or brewtarget, but I dont know how to do it...
