    AHS Arrogant Bastard clone

Following this closely...Interesting problem, seems like noone else has had it though I don't think many people have tried this clone yet.

Help a newbie out... Can I use a garden hose instead of plastic tube?

Food grade is okay definitely but the garden hose is a definite no go, especially if other people are drinking it as well. Hoses for this are pretty cheap and easy to find.

    French Onion Soup (with Apfelwein!)

Agreed, the bread bowl looks great as well.

Mr Beer - Read all about it and ask questions

I know Mr. Beer gets a lot of (deservedly) negative press but it's great for the hobby allowing a low barrier of entrance for newcomers to learn with.

Do you only drink what you brew??

I think this varies quite a bit but I think most probably still drink others besides their own. It's fun to critique them as you knowledge (and palate) grow.

    French Onion Soup (with Apfelwein!)

Looks great, easily one of my favorite soups (FO that is, will have to try this recipe).

Hangin out at my local Micro Bewery (Some Take Aways)

Sounds like a great time and a good group of brewers to be so generous. Not sure if they're all as welcoming (judging from some not all are like this) but you're lucky to have stumbled upon some good ones.

    What a day!

I too am getting into brewing more and more (am new to the site as well) and am interested in hearing some suggestions on a "broad" beer as well.

60 degrees too low to ferment?

60 is just on the low end of the "ideal" range for Ales. Some like it a bit warmer but you might be able to just crack the door open and get the temperature right in those rare cases.

    Growing hops with dogs.

I always heard that and wondered as well. Figured there had to be some sort of truth behind it but it could also be breed specific (like chocolate and dogs). Some are just more sensitive than others.

    Hi All!

As far as brewing goes I own TheBrewingStore.com and TheBrewingShop.com (both are the same right now). They are fairly new and I am seeing how they do in the brewing niche before I expand them. I also run some other sites, particularly mixed martial arts ones. Thanks for the welcome!

    Hi All!

Hello everybody, my name's Kris and I'm new to the community. A little info about me: I'm a student, freelance webdesigner, webmaster, and blogger. I run a few websites on homebrewing but am always interested in learning more. I've been looking for a community like this for some time and...
