    Infeection

After 12 days in the fermenter had the top of the wort covered in bubbles that looked like this. 1.052 original gravity and brewed a Witbier. Had tons of headroom since Wyeast 3944 really likes to go crazy. Gravity reading when transferred to secondary was 1.010.

Chemipro Oxi sucked in to beer during transfer

Thanks for the replies. The distributor emailed back and said it will break down in to oxygen and sodium carbonate. The small amount of sodium carbonate as a result should not be a problem.

It actually does say cleaner on the website for the product. Have also sent an email to the manufacturer as well. Thanks

Chemipro Oxi sucked in to beer during transfer

Will we have problems with this: About 2-3oz of Sanitizing solution got sucked in to the 5 gallons of beer during transfer to the bottling bucket. It was Chemipro Oxi and was diluted to 1 Tablespoon per gallon of water. It is a non-rinse sanitizer that is made from Sodium Percarbonate. Thanks
