I have a brown ale (OG - 1.054) that was in primary about 8 days, and has been in secondary for 2.5 weeks. The FG has been at 1.011 for 4 days, but there have been and still are very small bubbles still coming to the surface and my "S" airlock is still under pressure with some small bubbles...

I too found that with just over an ounce of pellets the 3" hop balls (got my from Midwest) seem to end up too packed once the pellets expanded during the boil. If I want to dry heat sterilize my bottles in the oven, after a rinse in Star San, would it be critical to have no foam left before going into a hot oven (300-340 deg F)? Of am I going over board? I am trying to prep them for short storage, NOT immediate bottling.
