I once mashed 5# of bread with a like amount of two row. Lightly hopped, made a nice lawnmower beer. It had a slightly weird flavor that I eventually attributed to all the salt in the bread. Called it Breadweiser.
That sucks. I was moving once and my landlord took my half barrel planter full of eggplants a week before we moved. Thought "we didn't want it". I was pissed.
Guy owns a bar, yet drinks crap beer. I watched one last night, which led to me trying to buy a Triumph on EBay. Knew I would be outbid, but it was nice to dream.
# 5 is terrible advice. Nyquil contains acetaminophen (Tylenol), which in combination with alcohol is terrible for your liver. If you must take pain relief for a hangover, NSAIDS (ibuprofen, asprin,naproxen) are better choices.
Elliott Mills Brewing Company in Elliott City,MD is a nice family friendly brewpub with German style beers and food. Highly recommend the smoked porchops with fries and extra gravy, probably the best thing on the menu. Elliott City is a nice historic downtown with many restaurants and shops...
Funny, this reminds me of the beer bomb idea I had awhile back. Brew a one gallon batch at 5% ABV, but with the hops and specialty grains of a 5 gallon batch. Ferment out and pasteurize, then bottle in the little 1.5 oz 5 hour energy bottles. Next time you're at an event with just BMC, just mix...
