    Making Traditional rice Wine. Cheap, Fun, and Different

    I have made several batches and seem pretty good. my latest batch (4 cups rice 2 balls) and one other one had purple splotches on top. the other batch tasted fine, just wondering if I applied the yeast at too high a temp, or some contamination? at least my friends seem to like the taste so far.
