Two weeks ago i bottled my bomm meade into bottles and left them in my wine rack in a horizontal manner. 2 day while walking by my rack i saw a white layer sticking to my bottle. I can compare it with " a chalk layer on your bathroom sink" . Does anyone know what this is?

I was thinking in creating a cubbort with those boxes they put fish in on ice. To make my racking chamber. And yeah a happy wife is a brewer without a headache

I tried the BoMM mead recipe that I found on this forum. I'm almost at the end of the first week and my mead really has a strong beer smell/taste. Does this smell/taste go away after the first overhouling? Or does this mean my Bomm will probably fail?:confused:
