American IPA The New West Coast IPA

Thanks for telling me what I think or don't think, but in this case I do think Steve Waugh is Steve Waugh as that is what is being put out there by my supplier including a video comparing hazy with london fog. They could be wrong and you could be right on the origins though.

I didn't realise it was just repackaged yeast though!

I believe the cali is us-05 and the hazy is London fog. Works for me!

Anyone else using the cellar science yeast? In my market it's half the price and just as good. I've had great success with their Cali & Hazy.

Nelson & Strata is one of the best hop combos I've ever had in a commercial beer. It was right up my alley.

Great info. I wish you had posted this a week ago though as I was pondering that exact question. I used a 5ml vial of Abstrax woody citrus in a red ipa I kegged last week. I added it with biofine at kegging (purged etc) but hedged my bets and used a half dose of biofine. The beer is a bit like...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Any good hop combos with eclipse? I really like the orange flavour I get from it in commercial beers but haven't brewed with it yet.

Random request - can anyone with a beer and brewer subscription post a recipe for me? https://beerandbrewing.com/recipe-wildflower-organic-table-beer/ This is my favourite beer here in Australia - if anyone is going to the Firestone walker festival I highly recommend trying it.

I honestly prefer the style at this strength. Here in Australia sessionable beers are big, maybe its the weather or a hangover from macro lagers but the ddh pale ale around 5.5% is the sweet spot in my opinion. I find it harder to brew than at the 7% mark. Dry, citrussy and less chloride is my...

Congrats on the win - it looks great. I'm currently crashing my beer dry hopped with citra, nectaron, Nelson & superdelic. 2, 1.5, 1, 0.5 ratios. I was due to use riwaka instead of the nelson/superdelic but it was pretty garlic/onion smelling. How good is Superdelic?!

I really like superdelic. I haven't got any diesel from it but pretty intense citrus and a really nice depth of flavour if that makes sense. I take no responsibility for you not getting diesel though!

What's the consensus on Pomona yeast? Planning a beer soon and have that and cellar science hazy on hand. Enjoyed the c.s yeast but it was on a 4.5% hazy pale and want this one around the 7% range. Also picking up on the above - Superdelic is very good. Comes through nicely alongside some big...

I've got some terps burning a hole in my pocket! Definitely planning a west coast with some.

Brewed one of these today in strong pale ale strength. Chinook, Idaho7 & citra on the hotside. Citra, superdelic & galaxy on the cool. Going to go greencheek style and add a substantial dry hop during fermentation. Had a major issue when I was just about getting to boil which I assumed was my...
