Got a quarter to half way racked be fore I remembered to add my priming sugar and then let the flowing beer mix it in its own.
It's been a week and the carbonation is week. Should I be worried about uneven carbing or does it just need more time?
It's an IPA extract kit by the way.
I uncover it at night to help keep the temp down and a couple times I didn't get it covered before the sun came up. It not direct Sun light but the fact that it contains 5oz of hops I fell like it wouldnt take much.
I will taste it today before I dry hop, I hope it's fine. When I tasted it...
So there is a slight chance my iPa was skunked, I have not dry hopped it yet.
My question is if my batch was skunked will dry hopping mask the skunkyness? If not is there anything that can be done?

IPa extract kit came in under on the og, supposed to be 1.06- came out 1.050. What could be the cause? How could this effect the beer.

My first brew! A Wheat extract kit with an American Ale yeast and the addition of 4 oz. of Ahtanum to the boil and 1 oz. dry hop.
Turned out freaking great!
It was recommended that i shouldn't experiment until I've had a few brews under my belt but I just can't leave stuff alone.
