I have a beer I want to dry hop in a corny keg. My question is when I rack the beer into the keg with the dry hops can I put it straight into the refrigerator, or do I need to wait a week or so at room temperature?

I bought a 50lb bag of grain that I used once. It has been in a storage container for 6 months to a year. Is that grain still good to use? Or should I just throw it away? It has been in a cool basement.

I live in Ohio and am interested in growing hops this year. Is it too late? Will you be able to harvest any hops your first year growing?

Thank you everyone for your help. I did my first batch with 12 pounds of grain and got a SG of 1.062, I was shocked! I don't do that well in my mash tun. I ran the grans through my mill twice trying to get my gravity up. Not having to worry about a stuck sparge was nice.
