    Sanke Keg Carbing

Awesome thank you, and thanks about the note on high pressure. I actually have a sparkling water setup on a picnic tap, so I'll tone it down until I can get the perlics

    I'm Doing It Wrong

I have very little experience kegging, just started myself, but from what ive been reading your beer line should be around 10' long, and you should be dispensing around 12 psi. I imagine dispensing beer at 30psi with 5' length would create a lot of foam. On my first keg I have 10' lines and they...

    Sanke Keg Carbing

Hey all, Ive started my kegging setup using Sanke Kegs. So far, so good, really like them, but I do have one question regarding carbing: Is there issue with me carbing with the serving line on? Should I plug the serving line somehow until the beer is carbed, then connect the serving line...

    classy recycled keg urinals

I tried to do something similar at a brewery I'm designing, but no plumbers would touch them. They said they wouldn't pass inspection due to the sanitation issue and risk to transmit disease,

Why does all Samuel Adams Beer Taste Bad?

Sam Adams (And harpoon) are my go to Non $5 a bottle beer. I think they are solid beers, and most importantly they are what got me interested in trying other beers. If It wasn't for Sam Adams, I would still think Heineken and Corona where what beer was supposed to be. Much respect for Sam Adams.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

About to start heating the water fir a Kolsch. Kinda nervous, the alpha levels of the hops I bought are way different than the ones in beersmith, so testing out how to balance those out. Nothing like starting early, and relaxing.

    New England Breweries

Portland is a must, allagash is certainly a fun visit. For Boston, besides what has already been said, I would highly recommend Idle Hands and Castle Island, both fantastic breweries. Check with Castle Island, I know they are building, so may not be available for samples. I also highly...

    Vodka 360 Bottle Label Removal

Ive never tried that bottle, but ive had good luck with Goo Gone and stickers, but for that id remove the plastic strip so that the paper soaks the chemical. I do either that or warm water soak.

    Learning how to sanke

So this happened not 5 minutes ago... A good friend of mine started a brewery, and now that he is switching to branded kegs, he gifted me a couple sixers so I can start kegging. Just so happens one of them had about a gallon left. Not knowing what it was, I decided to depressurize it and...

    Kolsch recipe Advice

Hey all, I'm making a 5G batch and wanted your thoughts: 9 lbs Pilsner malt 4 oz Melanoiden Malt 1 oz Hallertau @ 60 mins 1 oz Spalt @ 5 mins This gives me 5% abv and 20.3 IBU's, any thoughts on this style? Do I ferment it like any ale?
