    What is the relationship Between pounds of Sugar and Percent Alcohol

    Hi Everyone! I would like to make a batch of 5 g sugar water and ferment it to 18% alcohol. Could someone please tell me how to figure out how much sugar I would need to achieve this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
