Thanks looks like recipe changed a little so I'll make the changes. Think I'm going to add the honey and molasses at flameout since I'm going to use raw honey. Look forward to trying this my wife might even like it.
I believe it was your recipe that I found and was planning on using. Have you brewed it again and made any changes? This will be my 1st beer brewed not using a kit and using beersmith2.

Can any help me out with equipment profile for a.s/s 8 gallon pot I'm not sure about all the values it's asking for especially since I don't have a mash tun and I'm using it for extract / partial mash.

I saw the recipe on the AHA site and thought might try as my 1st partial mash . I'm just trying to decide if I should cheat and buy a Partial-Mash kit or do it all from scratch.

Thanks for the replies my thought on using the juicer was to avoid the sludge .I also thought about using it to extract flavor from fruit that's been soaking in some captain for 2 yrs and add the juice and rum to the fermenter maybe that would be better in a saison. What you all think
