I see pictures on this site of people who have their beer in a glass primary and some who have it in the plastic bucket type primary. I have been storing mine in the plastic bucket type. Does one have an advantage over the other?
I left it in the primary for 7 days just like the kit said to. I have not taken any gravity readings. What should it be reading before you take it out of the primary? By the way, this is my first brewing experience.
I put my wort in the secondary ferminter last Friday and for about a week now it has been foamy and gassing off. Today I noticed the the foam was almost gone. Is this normal or did something go wrong?
