    5 taps what to brew?

I also run a four tap. Mine is: 1. Lager/Pilsner 2. IPA/Pale Ale 3. Wheat/Hefe (Seasonal Rotating Tap) 4. Stout/Porter If I had a 5th, I'd run that one as my HIGHLY experimental tap. Those brews where you throw out the book and say "let's see what happens" Hahaha

    Chronic Foam Issue

I'm slightly confused, I didn't see any info on why it wouldn't be a tower cooling issue? It looks like your unit is on a front/back deck which would be a dramatic difference in beer to tower/tap temps. Is it foaming in the lines, or only during the pour?

Sounds good, I look forward to hearing what you find. Give me a shout if you ever find yourself in Vancouver, perhaps trade some pints! :tank:

    Selling homebrews

http://www.cvrd.bc.ca/DocumentCenter/View/63794 I've spoken with several breweries in the area, and as far as any of us know that seems to be the case. The brewery that sells there may be on privately owned property, but I'm willing to bet he got that section zoned for that or went through a...

    Selling homebrews

Sadly, that's not exactly the case. I'm also in BC. To sell at the farmers markets, you still need the liquor license. In BC to get that, you still need to have a facility (with all it's permits and approvals from the province) leased for a minimum of 12 months. Essentially, you have to be a...

Help me out, Danby kegerator/keg value?

Looks like you should be able to fit a fermenter in there. I'd say go for!

    Is this a normal smell?

I also used 3068 for my hefe, and yeah it throws some funky smells. Nothing to be concerned about. Though it definitely freaked me out a bit the first time too haha Good call on the blow off instead of 3-piece! I made that mistake once...never again!! I have a dent in my ceiling with a black...

First time using fruit...question about time

Nice choice on the cherries! That sounds delicious! Yeah, I'd wait to see how it turns out. I like to err on the side of caution though. Let me know how it turns out! I'm really curious

First time using fruit...question about time

It sounds like you'd like a fair whack of cherry flavor. So while I would personally wait and see how it turns out first before second guessing my additions, it sounds like your recipe could stand up to some substantial flavors. As with anyone's advice from here, take it with a grain of salt. We...

How I Got Kicked From Beer Advocate (& HBT)

Out of curiosity, what if someone was from a place (like Canada) where the drinking age is 19?
