Wife got me an awesome Top Tier setup (via a huge assist from my brewing buddy) and we are brewing our first stout tomorrow. Any tips from you old pros out there? Really looking forward to our session
For what its worth, I just started in Feb. My first was a kit present from in laws that was a Hefeweizen that was so so. Next was a Czech knock off that is still under the house hopefully maturing. I started buying kits from Midwest Brewing and made a great (at least I think so) DIPA.

I am brewing for the first time and am trying an Oktoberfest kit my family got me. It just started fermenting today (brewed it late Saturday night) Should I put it in the cold to finish fermenting, or once the fermenting is complete should I lager.
