    I never use the clamp that came with it, I use zipties. One strapped around the unit right above where the sleeve connects with a couple looped zipties in it and then a couple more to attach to the handle of the kettle.     Would depend on budget, if I had ~200 to spend and could manage not to dunk it, I'd get an All-clad one. All-clad is the brand. For around 100, I would do an anova or the ipx7 Kitchenboss one I have now. 50 or so could score an Instant pot branded one which worked great for me on about 10 brews...
