Started to mention finding 1 gal. LBMB, with and without spigot at Northern, but see already answered. I didn't find these at my usual store so I purchased a couple of 2 gallon buckets with lids. Was about to get another to drill and fit with a spigot when I heard about them here and order one...

I would think you should hit the same FG now. The sugar is still there regardless of boil off. Without addition, final and ABV would be slightly higher, right?

I think the divide by 5 can come pretty close and with only 10 or so bottles, not a major loss if the recipe is off a little. I've brewed for a long time, but not very consistent lately. Currently coming back from a couple year pause because of health issues. Mostly 5 gallon batches in past...

I'm only keeping the non-twistoff. They seem to be more common here, or maybe its just what my sons tend to pickup.

By some twist of the law in Michigan, cider bottles do not have a bottle deposit on them like beer bottles. Therefore, I have a growing collection of them from family members with that taste preference. I assume/hope they are safe for bottling homebrew, but before I spend the time soaking...
