I'm going to try to BOIL 12 Gallons of wort in a keggle with a 120 Volt 1500 Watt element. The element can't exceed 120 volt or 1500 Watts because I'm planning to run it with a DC to AC inverter, Via solar and batterys. The power can do it, but can the element boil it?
Howdy all. Do I need to rack my beer before I add the last hop addition. My recipe said to let the fermentation complete. Airlock has stopped and the hydrometer said i'm done. Do I need to move it or can it stay in there? Thanks for any help. New to the forum thing so, if I done respond...
Let me note that i put it on a rather large yeast cake from a previous batch. pretty sure that's it's not a stuck fermentation. Nottingham yeast could eat chrome it you let it.
so i did an extract brew last night. The OG was right on. It bubbled like crazy into the night. This morning there was very little activity. The gravity was as if it was finished but it has only been about 12 hours.. Should I be conserned? That's just way too soon. Any Help?
