    BLC in keg

Dr Landman keeps talking about prolonged exposure to the keg. I'm thinking of mixing a batch then immediately running it through the lines so it will be in the keg for maybe 2-3 minutes. I'm guessing this won't do too much harm.

    Barley Crusher Manual

That would be awesome! Hell if you could just tell me how to adjust it that would work too. There's a lot of talk on here about what gap everyone is running but nothing on how to actually adjust the mill.

    Barley Crusher Manual

I lost my manual too. I want to open up the gap on mine because I've had a couple of stuck sparges at factory setting. How do I actually turn the knobs to adjust the gap? Do I just latch pliers onto the knobs and turn or do I unscrew something first?

My first crack at formulating an IPA

The centennial is leftover from my last batch. I have plenty of Cascade and Willamette.

My first crack at formulating an IPA

So I'm pretty set on the grain bill. I'm not 100% on the hop additions. Does anyone have any suggestions. I'm going to brew this weekend. Thanks for looking. :mug: Pali's Pale Ale Selected Style and BJCP Guidelines 14B-India Pale Ale(IPA)-American IPA Minimum OG: 1.056 SG Maximum...

    dunkelweis tastes like dog crap

Any chance you added any dog crap to the boil?

    Apartment all grain?

Get a turkey fryer or a big pot and burner so you can do full boils. Invest in a fire extinguisher if you're worried about burning down your deck or pay a friend in homebrew to brew with you and help you carry that hot wort up all those steps!

    $16 Corny Kegs (not mine)

Just got mine today. There's some sticker gunk on the outside but other than that and a small dent on the side it looks fine. This deal is pretty much unbeatable. 16 bucks...these must have seriously fallen off of a truck.

Using TUMS Antacid for water modification

Why not just use the real stuff?

    Recipe Thoughts? Easy-Drinking Ale

I've heard of people doing this. Would you cook the rice first, drain it and add it to the mash tun? Or do you just throw some of that dry Uncle Bens right into the mash as is?

    My first recipe...legit or $hit?

Yeah. For this I was formulating from ingredients I already had. I think next time I'm going to get a sack of M.O. instead of 2-row. I haven't used it yet but I think I would like the maltiness it gives.

    My first recipe...legit or $hit?

This is my first attempt at formulating my own AG recipe. Any thoughts or suggestions? Has anyone here used Simpson's Golden Naked Oats before? Do they have to be milled? They are pretty small so I would probably have to adjust my mill to get a decent crush on them. Thanks for the input...
