I've always had this problem as well. I always thought it was air building up in the pump. Now I'm gonna have to see if they will send me a couple of impellers and see if I cant get this thing working the way I initially planned.

lol, i didnt see your post day tripper. how long does the AA battery last? also shouldn't the wire be protected? how long are the wires? I'm using sp10 burners mounted onto a bracket that runs the lenrth of the stand.
