Yes,,stiring the whole time,,a 16 quart pot, I warmed the extract but wounder if the thin bottom caused the problem? or was the extract to warm and thined and burnt because of that?

Boy I found out the hard way not to buy a cheap brew pot,,It burned my extract when I added it ,,very slow and I removed it from heat. I am thinking about buying one with a thicker bottom. Any thoughts?

Has anyone ever heard of adding liquid smoke to the beging stages while it boils, a friend told me his dad did that to his brews,,,sounds odd to me?

I have two buckets, one for the start of the brew and one to bottle, the third is glass and I read to move the brew to that glass one with the wand after 5-7 days and then to the 2nd to bottle,but also I have read I dont need to move a light beer mix to the glass one. I am confussed here?
