i was able to get close on beersmith with the recipe, i have seen the original recipe however i was more interested in the version troegs had posted. For anyone whos interested heres my conversion, minus the hopback.

I'm trying to scale down Troegs scratch brew triple mango ipa to do a 10 or 12 gallon batch however im a little confused on the conversion. Their batch had a grain bill of 1275 lbs along with 60 lbs of honey and 50 lbs of cane sugar. This batch was for 12 barrels which comes to about 372...

Just wanted to share some pics of the first brew day with the new system. My brother and I brewed an all grain extra pale ale just as a test run. The burners seemed a bit too large so we'll probly end up plugging some of the jets to get them under control but other than that it all ran flawlessly.

thanks wonder, those numbers seem like a good place to start. And yes Ohio I get BYO and that is what gave me the idea as well. I have made this recipe before and sparged so I'm interested in making it with no sparge to see if there is in fact a flavor difference.
