Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer Wild Pecan Porter

Kegging this tonight. Will report back with results. It was a little work doing the oil removal, but smelled fantastic. I wanted to rub the paper towels all over my body.

    6ft or 10ft beer line?

Any thoughts on 3 to 5 foot lines? Do I need to add line length to reduce foaming? My keezer is directly behind the wall that I want to put my taps on. I'm also planning to insulate the tap box and then run the lines through a tube that will be open to both the tap box and keezer to hopefully...

Specialty Smoked Beer 100% Peated Ale

I brewed this in april of 2013 and just cracked another bottle open. Its fun to drag this beer out for beer lovers that have tried everything. Because there is nothing like this beer anywhere that I know of. At a year and a half it has mellowed a bit, the beautiful smokey goodness and sweetness...

    Yerba Mate Drinkers?

I was just on the beaches in b Brazil, and finally tried the matte. Yum. These guys walk up and down the beach all day with 2 stainless steel vessels strapped under their arms, one is very strong, very sweet matte, the other is lemonade. The two are mixed together pretty much equally and are...

    The [Horribly Unpopular] Soccer Thread

I've been wanting to post on this thread for a month now but haven't had access to my gosh darn computer. Something changed on my app for my phone so I cannot post from it. Frustrating. I just got back from Brazil and the final of the World Cup. I was hoping to post pictures in real time, it...

What's the worst craft brew (commercial) you've had?

Stone - Crime is a horror show of impossible heat and chemical ickyness. Gross. I wish it tasted like pepper jack cheese, that would have been an improvement.

    Tobacco/Burnt flavor in Robust Porter

I had a strange thought. Know of anybody that has tried brewing with good tobacco leaves? Not sure about ingesting nicotine. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Home Brew mobile app

    Boil in garage or basement

I brew in the basement with a gas range, i made a hood and exhaust. And have a CO detector. My whole house is wide open, i pretty much removed all of my doors when i remodeled so i get plenty of air movement. It's nice to have a little humidity in the dead of winter. New Perlick 630ss

What bar was this picture taken at? Ha. 8 taps looks so excessive, almost obscene. But it's exactly how many I'm planning on. I'm going to look like an al co hol ic. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Home Brew mobile app

    Pipe smoking, a lost art.

I was brewing a 16 gal batch of New Zealand ipa when this arrived. I'm a very happy camper. The barbary coast smells intoxicating. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Home Brew mobile app

Does your SO support your brewing?

I brew indoors, in my basement. I built my brewery, then started the yearlong remodel then moved in to our house. My s.o. has been very patient with my brewing shenanigans. I have a hood over my stove that helps. She knows that i absolutely will not stop brewing, a lot. Sent from my SPH-D710...
