Ok so once i get all this i hook everything up force carb for about a week the disconnect everything and can store it for a bit or does co2 have to be connected even while beer is carbonated and not in use
Ok so ive often thought about it but never done my wife is thinking about getting me a kegerator now my question is besides the key itself would the keg have everything i need to keg my home brew or would i be looking at getting more equipment to actuallu keg my beer
The beer will have some carbonation thus expelling co2 and i assume ur using actual peaches and not concentrate due to tge sugar in the peach a second fermentation will begin although not nearly on the same level
The co2 gas first has to fill the fermentor to be released from airlock or blowoff creating a barrier co2 is heavier than air so it will pretty much repel incoming air i breew 5 gallons batch in a 6.5 gallon fermentor it will be ok :-)
So ive done 3 awesome brews so far on my 2nd, brew i used a plastic carboy and it seems i disfigured it a bit while clean i used extremely hot water and it is slightly deformed in yalls opinion is it still usable or am i sol? Thanks
I got it at a local home brewing store but its a brewers best kit came with all that a bottle capper brusher hydrometer thermometer bottling wand siphone cane and tube
Well it came with the kit i bought it had a primary bucket a carboy and bottling bucket from what ive been told racking into the carboy is 100% necessary i could just use the carboy as another fermentor
Ok to continue i am having good fermenting going on i can smell it ( smells fantastic btw) what is the best temp to keep t at right now im at 64-68 f range
First off i kno im supposed to wait however this is my first brew i am having no bubbles in the airlock its approximately 11-12 hours after i put it into ferrmenter should i have any reason to be concerned? Also at which point should i be concerned
