Has anyone tried putting pancakes in their mash? If so, did it produce any pancake flavor?

Just to share that there's another commercial brewery doing large biab batches.. here's a pic from our setup. This is a 100 gallon kettle, grain bills usually in the 130-180lb range. Yay BIAB!

It isn't the same unfortunately. It's probably close, but I'm planning to put Chapman stainless steel fermenters in anyway, which are wider than the brite tanks but narrower than 1/2 barrel kegs. I'll probably ask frigidaire directly if no one knows.

1lb lactose 1cup water Brought to a boil, then cooled. It did not turn clear. Im going to infer im not boiling it long enough?

I had always read to boil lactose with some water before adding it to secondary/keg.. but ive done it twice now, and once it cools it becomes as hard as a rock! Am i doing something wrong?

Im not only talking about drinking glasses. Anything that touches beer (boil kettle, mash tun, fermenters, siphons, kegs, bottles, buckets, etc.) That had been washed with dish soap would be a problem.
