    Peanut Butter & Jelly Beer

Thanks! Very helpful insights for my planned brew of a PB&J. Looking forward to your comments once it's carbed and ready to go!

    Peanut Butter & Jelly Beer

It's been a few months since you brewed this so just curious - how did it turn out? Did the 1oz of raspberry flavouring do the trick? I'm looking to do something similar.

    Pitching Another Pack of Yeast

Thanks. Everything seems to be sealed up alright, and there is a good amount of krausen, so I think I'm good. I sat there staring at my airlock and did notice it doing some bubbling (albeit extremely slow), so I'll just trust that all is working as it should. Thanks for taking the time to...

    Pitching Another Pack of Yeast

First of all, I'm a lazy brewer so I never take gravity readings. I brew, pitch the yeast, watch it bubble, and take that as my sign that all is good. My most recent batch isn't bubbling. I have no OG reading, so can't really test to see if it's been fermenting. To be safe, if I were to...

What I did for beer today

I bottled 2 batches of beer today. An Amber Ale and a Cream Ale. Getting set for patio season!

First Time Adding Priming Sugar to Bottling Bucket

Don't worry about it - that's normal. It's just the CO2 burning your nose!

    Newb brewer , Toronto

Both places are great, but I tend to go to the Guelph store - I actually live in Georgetown (I wrote Toronto in my profile because nobody outside of Ontario would know where that is!), but I hate driving into Toronto so I usually go to KJ Brewing Supplies in Guelph. Great staff, and if you...

    Newb brewer , Toronto

Welcome to the forum! And yes, hopefully I can help you out as a fellow Ontario brewer. https://torontobrewing.ca/ - is definitely really good and very well supplied. If you're close, their retail store is worth a visit. Craft Brewing - I've also ordered a lot from these guys. Their...

    Premature Dry Hop

Just an update on this condundrum in case this thread is searched in the future with the same problem. I just sampled the finished beer, and it is really quite good. No harm, no foul. I screwed up the dry hop, but good beer emerged nonetheless!
