I've made a great red IPA with 10 lbs 2 row, 3 lbs Briess 80, and 2 lbs Munich. It has a nice red color and caramel flavor that goes perfect with my hop choices. I'm experimenting with a "dark" IPA as well just changing out the specialty malts with chocolate.

Thanks for the info, this is why I signed up on here. Great info in that thread thanks for pointing it out, we will just let it go as long as it needs then. We are still tinkering with our recipes and trying to figure out how low our FG will go and get the right taste we want. Cheers
